Vivek Ramaswamy joins Donald Trump in congratulating Argentina’s new president and former ‘tantric sex coach’ Javier Milei
WASHINGTON, DC: Republican Vivek Ramaswamy joined former President Donald Trump in congratulating Javier Milei – a pro-Trump libertarian with an unconventional background that includes working as a “tantric sex coach” – after his election to the presidency of Argentina.
The second round of the presidential election on Sunday, November 19, saw Milei triumph over Argentina’s Economy Minister Sergio Massa, who conceded before the official publication of the election results.

While Argentina’s electoral authority released partial results, Milei received 55.95 percent of the vote with 86.6 percent counted, while Massa garnered 44.04 percent, at the time of publication. The victory marks a shift to the right in Argentina, driven by discontent with rising inflation and increasing poverty.
Republicans celebrate Javier Milei’s victory
Former President Trump expressed his support for Milei through several posts on his Truth Social account, praising Milei’s victory and drawing parallels to his famous slogan “Make America Great Again.”
Trump’s message read: “Congratulations to Javier Milei on his great run for president of Argentina. The whole world was watching! I am very proud of you. You will transform your country and truly make Argentina great again! “

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy joined in Milei’s congratulations, but highlighted the challenges facing the new president. Ramaswamy highlighted Argentina’s economic difficulties and expressed hope for Milei’s success, invoking the spirit of renowned economists Ludwig von Mises and Friedrich Hayek.
In a video message, Vivek Ramaswamy reflected on Argentina’s economic history, saying: “Just a century ago, Argentina was one of the ten richest countries in the world. Today’s Argentina suffers from 124% inflation and is losing economic migrants to other countries. Congratulations to Javier. Milei. Now the hard part begins. May the spirits of Mises and Hayek be with you.

Anarcho-capitalist vision and bold political proposals
Javier Milei, a 52-year-old economist and radio show host, describes himself as an anarcho-capitalist. His political rise accelerated when he was elected to the Argentine parliament in 2021 as a member of “La Libertad Avanza” (“Freedom Advances”).
“If I had to choose between the state and the mafia, I would choose the mafia,” he once said. “Because the mafia has codes, the mafia adapts, the mafia does not lie. And above all, the mafia competes.”

Milei advocates for reduced government intervention, which has won him popularity among disenchanted young voters. Known for his bold statements and unorthodox views, Milei proposed a “chainsaw plan” to gut the state, targeting public health and education systems while cutting ministries.
He has embraced comparisons to former President Trump and has openly criticized Pope Francis, calling him a “fucking communist,” a “communist turd” and a “representative of evil on Earth” in brazen social media posts .
Mastiffs, telepathy and “tantric sex”
The president-elect’s private life seems equally unconventional, with a family of four 200-pound English Mastiffs, each named after famous right-wing economists. A recent biography revealed Milei’s interest in telepathy, claiming that he communicated with his deceased dog Conan for political advice.
Although Milei has not denied these claims, he maintains that his personal affairs belong to him.
The president-elect’s past as a “tantric sex” coach and his openness about his intimate life have added to his unconventional public image. Milei, single and never married, spoke about his previous role as a tantric sex instructor and his ability to abstain from ejaculation for a full three months.
Raised in Buenos Aires, Milei’s tumultuous relationship with his parents led to a ten-year separation. Although he studied to be an economist, he tried his luck about five years ago on daytime television shows, where his eccentric claims about his sexual prowess and bold political views attracted the attention and popularity of viewers, according to the Daily Mail.
