Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler Avoid Each Other, Fans Call It ‘Biggest Upset’ of Oscars 2023
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Austin Butler and Vanessa Hudgens attended the 2023 Oscars three years after breaking up in January 2022, but appeared to avoid each other on the champagne carpet at the 95th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday, March 12. It left social media upset with one of the fans commenting: “Dear ABC producers…if you don’t do everything in your power to get Austin Butler to stop instead of Vanessa Hudgens on the all in, so what is this pre-show even for?”
The pre-show saw Hudgens, 34, who recently got engaged to Cole Tucker, interview several Oscar nominees and attendees, including Paul Mescal, Angela Bassett and Baz Luhrmann. However, she did not interview Austin. Hudgens co-host Ashley Graham interviewed him instead.
