Trump Calls Kim Kardashian ‘Most Overrated Celebrity’ But Surprisingly Boosts Kanye West
WASHINGTON, DC: In a final angry social media post, former President Donald Trump called Kim Kardashian “the world’s most overrated celebrity”, referring to a recently published book about the former president.
Trump criticized ABC’s Jonathan Karl’s book “Tired of Winning,” saying the former president asked the reality TV star to use his fame to lure football players to visit the White House after Kim Kardashian encouraged him to release more prisoners.

In his tirade on his social media platform Truth Social, the former president decided to go after Kardashian instead of disparaging his 2024 rivals and officials in his civil fraud case in New York, according to The Independent.
The former president, however, admitted that he had helped “with the commutation of prisoners”, but “only if he deserved it, and much more for Kanye West than for Kim, who probably voted for Crooked Joe Biden”.

Trump’s criticism stems from the fact that the reality TV star turned to his fame to persuade the then-president to reduce some prison sentences, as Jonathan Karl details in his new book, “Tired of Winning : Donald Trump and the End of the Grand Old Party”. ‘.
Karl, an ABC News reporter, reports that Kardashian visited the White House several times when Trump was president to push for changes in the criminal justice system.

Additionally, he claims that Trump asked Kardashian to invite football players, with whom she was friends, to the White House.
Trump called Karl a “failed ABC Fake News reporter” in an article on Truth Social, saying he “works so hard, but has so little talent.”
Trump wrote in his Truth Social speech: “In the ‘book,’ he features the world’s most overrated celebrity, Kim Kardashian, supposedly telling me that she would ‘leverage her celebrity to get soccer stars to come to the White House.” “
“If I commuted the sentences of various prisoners. This story is fake news in the sense that she would be the last person I asked to have football players,” Trump added.
Afterwards, Trump proudly declared that he was home to “many teams from all sports and leagues, at the White House.”

Additionally, Trump acknowledged that he helped get prisoners’ sentences reduced “but only if he deserved it, and much more for Kanye West than for Kim, who probably voted for crooked Joe Biden, and look in what a mess our country is in. NOW.”
Trump and Ye, formerly known as Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West, have a well-established relationship.
Ye also reportedly urged Trump to be his vice presidential nominee in 2024 — a contest he has apparently abandoned — and visited Trump at the White House during his presidency.
In 2022, Ye also reportedly attended an infamous meal at Mar-a-Lago with Trump and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes.

Internet divided following Donald Trump’s statement
Social media users took to X (formerly Twitter) to mock Trump’s denigration of Kim K and his supposed connection to Ye.
One X user scoffed and said: “How ironic… I have often considered Trump the most overrated ‘celebrity’. I mean, shit, he was a lot more entertaining when Johnny Carson kept using him as punch-‘lines in his late-night monologue. That ‘Apprentice’ shit was incredibly boring!’
A second echoed: “Of course Ivanka Trump and Kim are best friends. However Trump doesn’t know that and he doesn’t care, that must mean Ivanka is ‘overrated’ too.”
“It takes the most overrated celebrity in the world to recognize one,” another user quipped.
Another joked: “He forgot that the most overrated celebrity looks in the mirror every day when they do their hair.”
Another added: “Trump is in the same boat as Kim…another overrated celebrity who has overstayed his welcome”
“Well I can agree with him on one thing except I would have called her the ‘most useless celebrity,'” another agreed.
