‘Transformers: Robots in Disguise’ Star Peter Spellos, Who Voiced Sky-Byte on the Cartoon Series, Dies at 69
INDIANAPOLIS, IN: “American Dreams” star Peter Spellos, the voice actor for the animated series “Transformers: Robots in Disguise,” died on November 19. He was 69 years old.
The actor succumbed to symptoms of pancreatic cancer at Francisca Hospice House in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jennifer Smith, a friend and theater student, shared the news on Facebook.

According to Jennifer, who obtained Peter’s power of attorney, “he was loved, cared for and surrounded by people during his final days,” as she told TMZ.
The late actor’s pal, Fred Olen Ray, paid tribute on Facebook, saying: “It is with great sadness that I have to announce the passing of my dear friend, Peter Spellos, at 2:30 a.m. this morning.”
James, his brother, said the actor would be cremated. For admirers, the family will also organize an online meeting.
