Todd Chrisley ‘very upset’ about spending vacation behind bars surrounded by inmates rather than family

PENSACOLA, FLORIDA: The holiday season isn’t going to be a joyous one for TV star Todd Chrisley. He’s upset he can’t be with his family, Todd’s attorney Jay Surgent told TMZ.

He said Todd was “very upset” about his situation as he faced his first holiday behind bars with other inmates instead of his loved ones.

Savannah wants her parents home for the holidays, but they still have a long way to go. Although they managed to reduce their sentences by 12 and seven years, Todd got years in prison and Julie got a year in prison, the publication notes.

The publication reports that Todd will receive a special Thanksgiving meal at FPC Pensacola in Florida, but it’s nothing like the home cooking he’s used to. Todd’s lawyer told the publication, “It looks like reality is starting to set in.”

Surgent said they are, however, still looking for ways to bring Todd home sooner. Todd has a new court date in March where his legal team will try to overturn his conviction, his attorney said.

Meanwhile, Todd appears to be “making the most of his time in prison,” the publication reports. He said: “He was a leader among the prisoners, giving them advice and guidance.”
