Who was arrested in the death of Jonathan Lewis?
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has opened a homicide investigation into Lewis’ death, but no arrests have been made so far.
However, Lewis’ father said investigators told the family they planned to charge several students involved in the killing.
Lewis’ family created a GoFundMe page called “Heart of a Champion Our Son,” which has already raised $40,563 of the $25,000 goal.
“He will always be as loved as his father, I will always keep him in my heart, I will shine even more, I will love even more and I will work all my life to bring peace to this world”, we can read in the collection of funds.
“Even though our hearts are broken and this tragedy is absolutely senseless madness, we want to focus on our son’s legacy. Jonathan was a loving, generous, kind and fierce young man who loved the community and cared for others,” he continued.
