Speaking about her cancer, Ally said: “Five years ago, on September 5, 2018, I heard the dreaded words ‘You have cancer’ and since then I have heard those words 5 additional times, this which makes this the 6th fight for my life… At 16, I was forced to think about my life and the end more than a child should.

She continued: “This is why we need more funding for research. I think children should not be faced with life or death situations. I believe we can help raise money to fight cancer. It’s important to know and learn about cancer because it can be anyone. I thought it could never be me until it was, and I quickly realized how common it was. You don’t need a diagnosis about yourself or someone you love to get involved.

The goal of this trial is to find signs of effectiveness in several types of pediatric cancers, including rhabdomyosarcoma.
