“The Goat Without a Doubt”: Internet Erupts in Joy as Drake Announces New EP “Scary Hours 3” on Social Media

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Internet users are probably feeling over the moon after learning that a new EP is apparently in Drake’s plans. The Canadian rapper announced Thursday, November 16, that he would release a surprise EP ‘Scary Hours 3’ at midnight.

The “Rich Baby Daddy” singer revealed the news of the follow-up to his 2021 EP “Scary Hours 2” with an Instagram post with the caption “Scary Hours 3. Tonight at midnight.”

He also posted a nearly two-minute video with the caption that was filmed at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, People reports.

Drake’s voiceover in the video

“I don’t feel the need to appease anyone. I feel so confident in all of the work I just gave up that I know I can disappear for anything. Six months, one year, two years,” Drake says in voiceover over a visual of a car driving remotely through the streets of the rapper’s Canadian hometown.

“Although I don’t like long, long disappearances just for the sake of mystery,” he laughs as he walks toward the empty arena before a valet hands him a glass of red wine.

“You know, at the end of the day, it comes to me in a way that I haven’t experienced since [2015’s] If you read this [It’s Too Late] where it’s a bit like I feel like I’m on drugs,” he added.

He continued: “I feel like I’m in this mental state with nothing to do. Who am I to fight it?” The 37-year-old then reveals that he wrote the EP’s songs over the past five days and that he didn’t have “a bar written” for his upcoming EP when he released his last album.
