“The dream comes true”: Internet shares the happiness of Sabrina Carpenter opening for Taylor Swift on Eras Tour
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter shared her excitement at having the opportunity to open for Taylor Swift on the international leg of her Eras Tour in an exclusive interview with digital fashion publication Who What Wear.
Swift announced the international leg of her record-breaking Ears tour in June. The “Anti-Hero” singer revealed that Carpenter will open all shows in Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. She will also accompany the pop star to seven shows in Australia and six in Singapore.

Carpenter’s first performance on the tour took place in Mexico City, where she sang Swift’s “Picture to Burn.”

Being selected for the Eras Tour was a dream come true moment for the 24-year-old singer.

“I’m not going to say I peed my pants because that sounds very graphic and maybe unhygienic, but I think it really caught me off guard,” Carpenter told the portal.
“It was truly a childhood dream come true. I probably haven’t realized it yet if I’m being completely honest with you,” she added.

Carpenter also recalled his first meeting with the “Cruel Summer” singer. She was 17 when she met Swift backstage at a show.
She also spoke about Swift’s impact on her life: “Working with someone [who] cares about you as a person and as an artist…that’s definitely the greatest gift.”
Speaking about her experience on stage during the Eras Tour, she said she felt very “lucky” to be performing in front of a huge crowd.
“I’m going into it with a little more enthusiasm, being playful, singing and interacting with the audience as much as possible,” she said. “There are so many, I can’t see them all.”

Swift concluded the tour in Argentina. Her next stop is Brazil, where she will perform in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
