‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans’ Son Jace Evans Runs Away From Grandma Barbara’s Home

OAK ISLAND, NORTH CAROLINA: Jace Evans, the son of “Teen Mom” Jenelle Evans, has disappeared from his grandmother’s residence. The 14-year-old had been staying with his grandmother for about a month after his stepfather, David Eason, was accused of child abuse.

Jace disappeared from his home on November 17, according to The Ashley Roundup and US Sun sources. He was discovered around 9:30 p.m. on November 18 and has since been hospitalized for mental health issues.

Police searched the area for about two days before finding the teen. According to The US Sun, several posts from his mother on social media had irritated Jace.

Jace was unable to get the right medications from Barbara since Jenelle had the power to withhold access to certain medications. Therapists were afraid to work with Jace because they didn’t want to deal with the consequences of David and Jenelle’s criticism, leaving him without a therapist.

Following the alleged assault, Jace moved in with Jenelle’s mother, Barbara. She was expected to appear in court next week to formalize her residency there.

It is unknown why Jace fled his grandmother’s house or where he will live next.
