Outrage as Ariana Fletcher shames Uber Eats driver for using restroom before delivering food

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: Ariana Fletcher, a social media influencer, was seen shaming one of the Uber Eats drivers. The influencer, who has collaborated with brands such as Fashion Nova, shamed the driver for taking a bathroom break before the delivery.

The Fashion Mogul was quick to take the conversation between her and the driver to Twitter and complain to Uber Eats about the incident. She also revealed the woman’s name and license number in the screenshot shared on her Twitter account.

What did Ariana Fletcher complain about on Twitter?

Fletcher posted on Twitter, “This is f**king disgusting and unprofessional as f**k!!!” Ariana Fletcher, 27, wrote to her 2.3 million followers on the platform. “@UberEats I canceled my order so fast I will never use Uber Eats another day in my life. Y’all workers doing shit like this F**KING GROSS!!!!!!! !!!!!” To which, Uber Eats responded by saying, “Hey Ari, we are so sorry about this and understand the concern here. We will contact you within the app shortly.”

Uber Eats has also received backlash from other celebrities. On February 1, 2022, Snoop Dogg also criticized the app for receiving his food late. Snoop ordered food from the delivery app, but never received it after the delivery guy said “It’s not a safe place”, leading Snoop to rant “M– ——–r from Uber Eats didn’t bring my f—-n’ food.” However, netizens were in favor of the delivery man caring about his own safety rather than delivering the food to an unsafe place.

“Don’t Fire That Girl”

The internet quickly reacted to the incident. One user said: “Don’t fire this girl, her whole license plate number and car was set on fire…for no reason. Better ways to handle this then go public just to let people know that you got a janitor, y’all got issues. idols.” Another added: “If you retaliate against the worker, I will delete my account and never use your services again. She did nothing wrong!”. One comment read, “If you fire her…I’m canceling my account ASAP. Another said: “Don’t you dare fire her.” One user tweeted, “Please ignore her. She doesn’t understand that us non-famous workers are humans who need to go to the bathroom! Don’t fire that girl for that!!! .”

One user then noted, “It’s an easy legal action for the employee. A job can’t fire you for having to use the restroom. It’s definitely an easy win in court. The employee doesn’t did nothing wrong.” “Are you sorry because your drivers are human and using the restroom? Was the driver eating customers’ food out of the box? That’s a ridiculous response for a ridiculous complaint,” one user added. “Reaching out about what? People are using the restroom. If she thinks those cooks haven’t, then….” another said. Another noted, “she used the bathroom.. what would you have preferred? she ends up accidentally peeing all over the car on her way there?? your employee suffers from having to hold him on the way and then all the way to a bathroom? don’t fire her.” Don’t fire that girl. Everyone uses the bathroom! It’s not like she took her food to the bathroom and she said her husband would because she couldn’t wait another 5 minutes. He’s probably in the car with her helping with the controls. What is the problem ? “added another.

It is an easy trial for the employee. A job can’t fire you because you have to use the bathroom. It’s certainly an easy win in court. The employee did nothing wrong.
