Mei Haskell’s friend shaken after disappearance
Speaking to KTLA, Mei Haskell’s neighbor and close friend Elle Benami said, “Outwardly, (Mei and Samuel) didn’t seem very warm to each other, or affectionate, or having a great marriage.” , but I didn’t know anything about it. “There are problems. But they are very different in the sense that she was very extroverted, very sociable and he was not. He is more reserved, calm.”
Benami mentioned that she last saw Mei while she was driving her children to school, a week before she disappeared.
“She was devoted to her boys,” she said, adding “They were definitely her whole life.”
Following this horrific discovery, the children were removed from their respective schools and are staying with relatives.
