While John Krasinski played the genius scientist with far-reaching powers, Mr. Fantastic was part of a group known as the Illuminati, whose members included a variation of each of Professor Charles Xavier, Captain Marvel, Captain Carter, Mordo and Black Bolt.

The group worked to protect the multiverse from any known or unknown threats and crossed paths with Dr. Stephen Strange and Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) from the MCU’s “sacred” timeline.

Marvel has never clarified whether “The Office” star was a one-off fan service or if we’ll see more of Krasinski in other versions of the role in the MCU as we move forward.
