LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: “Good Girls” Christina Hendricks recently took to social media to announce her engagement to beau George Bianchini. The ‘Mad Men’ regular, sharing a photo of the couple, captioned, “We proposed and said yes!!! I will love and care for him forever. @steadig”.

The couple’s fairytale romance began on the sets of NBC’s comedy-drama series “Good Girls.” While Hendricks spread his magic on screen, Bianchini was in charge behind the camera while working as a camera operator on the show.

It’s not the first time, however, that the star has shared an image with her beau online. In March 2022, Hendricks, who was previously married to Geoffrey Arend, posted a photo of herself and Bianchini attending a Simon le Bon rooftop show. However, the couple sparked dating rumors when they went together to a Christian Siriano exhibition in Georgia in November 2021.

In November 2022, Bianchini accompanied Hendricks on his trip to Scotland, where the couple could be seen posing in traditional Scottish ensembles while traveling by train. While Hendricks was in plaids, Bianchini opted for the traditional kilt. The six Primetime Emmy nominees captioned her post as follows: “She was wearing all her Scottish finery so felt no guilt for convincing her guy to slip into a kilt. @belmondroyalscotsman #royalscotsman @steadig #luxurytrains”.

Hendricks also posted a photo of them from the early days of her train journey aboard ‘The Royal Scotsman’, which she captioned, “Leaded through the pipes to a carriage filled with delights, the train began like that i hope she picked the right hat!! @belmondroyalscotsman @steadig”.

Although Bianchini’s dating history is not known, Hendricks was previously married to actor Geoffrey Arend. The former couple, who wed in 2009, filed for divorce in 2019 and announced the news on Instagram in a joint statement that read, “Twelve years ago we fell in love and became partners. We joined our two amazing families, had countless laughs, made wonderful friends and were blessed with incredible opportunities.” The message continued: “Today we take our next step together, but on separate paths.” They further wrote, “We will take the time to rediscover ourselves in this transition and we thank you for your patience and support in giving us the space to do so.”

The Hendricks co-stars and friends of the couple gushed when news of the engagement broke. Hendricks’ “Good Girls” co-star Mae Whitman made an enthusiastic comment using an adorable nickname for the couple, “YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY Mr and Mrs Seagull!!!!!!!”. His “Mad Men” co-stars also joined the bandwagon soon after with January Jones writing “Yayayayayayay!!!!!❤️❤️❤️”. “Congratulations!!! So happy for you both!! 💗💗💗,” wrote Mad Men co-star Alison Brie.

Marvel actor Kat Dennings congratulated: “Christina!!! Love you, so happy for you two ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”. Tan France, who is now reeling from the success of ‘Next in Fashion’ wrote, “OMG!!!!! I’m so, so happy for you two!!! ❤️”

Apart from friends in the industry, fans of the couple also took to the photo-sharing platform to show their love and support for the newly engaged couple. “Whoever currently holds the title ‘The Luckiest Man Alive’, we need you to return your crown. We have a new champion! said one user. “Can’t wait to see your dress! an amazing bride. Congratulations to you guys, that’s beautiful ♥️,” gushed another user. Hendricks’ post was also inundated with requests to become bridesmaids, with one young fan joking, ” As a 17 year old little girl, I want to be your bridesmaid, will you accept? 🤣💍❤️”.
