Nick suffered minor injuries, but John, a former U.S. Marine, suffered a fractured skull and other serious injuries that required lifelong medical treatment. John remained in a vegetative state and required 24/7 care for the rest of his life.
Nick pleaded no contest to the reckless driving charge and was sentenced to eight months in prison in 2008. He also had to pay restitution to John’s family and perform community service.
At the time, Hulk told People: “[Nick] I was on the move in life and perhaps didn’t really appreciate things…”
“When it happened, he spun… It was the best thing that ever happened to him. I’m not saying it’s a good thing. But it happened for a reason “, he added.
However, the Hulk’s son was released from prison after serving about six months due to his good behavior. Graziano’s family then sued the Hogans, according to TMZ, and the lawsuit was settled out of court.
