The 42-year-old did a brief segment on “GMA” to discuss important points highlighted in the White House report on climate change released every five years.

Zee mentioned in his report: “Greenhouse gases are higher today than at any time in the last 800,000 years. The drought in the southwest United States is the most severe in at least 1,200 years. »
She then spoke about the “cost of damage” that every U.S. state has faced due to climate change.
Zee said: “China emits far more than the United States today, our country still holds the legacy burden, more per capita than any other country, and is responsible for a portion of China’s emissions as we consume Chinese products. »

Despite Zee’s in-depth analysis, one troll didn’t want to agree with the “GMA” star and instead mocked her with his own analysis.
They tweeted: “The sun was active this year and is the main driver of climate, they never include the sun in climate issues. We had 4 years of drought in the 1930s and record temperatures. Let’s not forget that. »

After taking note of the comment, Zee decided to respond and teach the troll a lesson about climate change.
She replied: “If the Sun were responsible for global warming, we would expect warming in all layers of the atmosphere, from the surface to the upper atmosphere (stratosphere). »
Zee continued: “But what we’re actually seeing is warming at the surface and cooling in the stratosphere. This is consistent with the warming being caused by a buildup of heat-trapping gases near the Earth’s surface, not by the Sun becoming “hotter.”
Towards the end, Zee attached a link to NASA’s climate change report and advised the troll to “”.
