On Reddit, one person wrote: “Bourne Ultimatum was a great ending, why are we still chasing this dragon?” »

“The first three installments were great entertainment, the last two were forgettable. If they make a new Bourne movie, make a faithful adaptation of the first novel,” commented another.

“Making. New. Movies. Damn, where the hell can the Bourne franchise go at this point?” said someone, who clearly wasn’t happy with the announcement of another “Jason Bourne” movie.

One fan said: “Good choice of director but it’s a bit late for a new Bourne. I love the films though. But I don’t really see where they could go with this.”

One person asked: “Are there no more new ideas?” with one saying “so useless”.

“How much do I not want this? Please, the first one redefined a modern action movie. The next 2 are great movies in their own right. Legacy was good, but the 2016 reboot didn’t really capture the spirit of the first 3.” expressed another.
