‘Do not let me down!’ Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola is ready to return to ‘Jersey Shore’ after 10 years
JERSEY SHORE, NEW JERSEY: Sammi Giancola from ‘Jersey Shore’ is ready to make a big comeback to the show after 10 years. Giancola, who was an original cast member of the MTV reality show when it first aired in 2009, hasn’t been on it since 2012. When the channel rebooted the series in 2018 as “Jersey Shore : Family Vacation”, Giancola, 35, chose not to reappear.
However, fans of Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola can rejoice as the reality TV star returns to great fanfare for the show’s next season. A “Jersey Shore” manager posted a message showing a photo of the New Jersey native sitting on a stool in front of a green screen in what appears to be a recording studio room. She appears to be recording confessionals for the show surrounded by microphones.

The Instagram post was captioned, “She is still the sweetest girl you have ever met. @sammisweetheart,” with the hashtag “#JSFamilyVacation.”
Sammi Giancola’s track on the show
Making her first appearance on the show in season one, Giancola started out as a single girl recently out of a relationship. In Season 1 Episode 3, she developed a connection with her teammate Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Although she left the show in 2012, she was in a tumultuous relationship with Ortiz-Magro in 2014 when they finally decided to go their separate ways.
In 2018, Giancola shared that she would not be returning for the show’s reboot in a social media post. She wrote, “I’m in a completely different place in my life right now, focusing on my business and my relationships,” adding, “I’m currently extremely happy in all aspects of my life and want to avoid situations potentially toxic.”
Ortiz-Magro was a long time part of the original ‘Jersey Shore’ and also a part of the reboot until he was arrested in 2021 for what some reports alleged was a case of domestic abuse.

‘Jersey Shore’ star Mike ‘The Situation’ Lauren, Sorrentino’s wife, commented with a series of exclamation points while Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley commented with a number of cheering emoji. Justina Valentine wrote “EPIC”.
