Angelina Jolie praised for bringing daughter Zahara closer to her roots as she joins black college sorority
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has become an official member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College in Atlanta.
The AKA has the distinction of being the first historically black sorority in the United States, founded on January 15, 1908, at Howard University in Washington, DC.

Essence posted a video on social media on November 15, in which Zahara was seen excitedly walking out of a line of her sorority sisters to introduce herself.
As she shook her head and performed a series of well-practiced moves, Zaha loudly announced to a cheering crowd: “My name is Zahara Marley Jolie. I’m from the Golden State, in the city full of angels, Los Angeles., California… I’m number seven in this line.
The 18-year-old sophomore wore a long-sleeved black midi dress, accessorized with black gloves and pearl jewelry.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are proud and supportive of their daughter
According to Page Six, Angelina, 48, has been spotted visiting her daughter on the college campus since moving to Atlanta last year. In October 2022, the “Maleficent” star stopped by Sppelman for her homecoming, just months after dropping Zahara off at college.

The actress stopped to take photos with her fans on both occasions.
Brad Pitt, Angelina’s 59-year-old ex-husband, with whom she shares six children, has already gushed about his daughter, telling Vanity Fair in August 2022: “(Zahara) is going to flourish even more to college. It’s an exciting and beautiful time. “To find your own path and pursue your interests. I’m so proud. Where does the time go, right? They grow too fast. It brings tears to their eyes.”
