‘A Part of Me is Waiting for You’: RHOM’s Nicole Martin Mourns the Death of Her Father Miguel and Things Left Unsaid
MIAMI, FLORIDA: Dr. Nicole Martin shared a personal loss with her fans.
On Sunday, November 19, the “Real Housewives of Miami” star took to her Instagram page to share the heartbreaking news of her father Miguel’s death.

She began by writing: “I couldn’t find the words and still can’t. It all happened so fast and it still doesn’t seem real.”
Martin added: “Part of me is still waiting for one of your crazy phone calls. So many things unsaid and moments we haven’t shared.”

She concluded: “I try not to dwell on the missed moments and focus on the improvements we made. You had a zest for life and I know you’re partying in heaven. Rest in peace dad. I love you. 🙏❤️.”

The Bravo star reportedly had a difficult childhood as her father Miguel left her and her family after some legal troubles.
Nicole and her siblings were raised by their mother. She considers her mother “a hero” because she learned to get back on her feet after her father left them.
According to Martin’s biography on Bravo’s official website, “His mother, who was previously a stay-at-home mom dedicated to her children, found herself looking for work to support two children and a housekeeping for the first time in 20 years.”
It further read: “This humiliating experience drastically affected the lives of everyone involved, but Nicole’s mother handled these major struggles with nothing but grace and a big smile.”

In the latest season of the show ‘RHOM,’ Nicole said she was trying to repair her relationship with her father.
During an episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that aired in March 2023, Nicole opened up about her complex relationship with her father Miguel.
Afterward, Nicole said, “I feel like it was an elephant in the room for years, and because of the show, we kind of had to deal with the fact that our relationship wasn’t ideal and we had to talk about things and we eventually ended up in therapy, and I don’t think I would have done that if I hadn’t gotten a nudge.

On November 2, the reality star announced that she was expecting her second baby with fiancé Anthony Lopez.
The couple’s little one is expected in April 2024.
The couple, who got engaged in 2021, already share a 4-year-old son named Greyson.
During an interview with People magazine, Nicole mentioned that she and her fiancĂ© Lopez were “over the moon” about expanding their family.
The pregnant star also said her son is very excited about having a little brother or sister.
She told the publication: “Oh, he’s very excited to join our family. He’s been asking for a sibling for a while and I know he’s going to be a wonderful big brother.”
