‘1000-Lb Sisters’: Chris Combs questions Caleb Willingham’s intention as he toasts Tammy Slaton’s partner
DIXON, KENTUCKY: ‘1000-Lb Sisters’ star Tammy Slaton was seen getting engaged to Caleb Willingham in the newly released episode. Well, now that the star is ready to marry the love of her life, her brother wants to make sure she’s chosen the right person. Tammy’s brother, Chris Combs, toasts her husband before the wedding to make sure he’s good for his little sister.
TLC star Tammy and Caleb have decided to wed just after three weeks of knowing each other. Well, that didn’t give Tammy’s family enough time to get to know Caleb personally. In the next episode, we’ll see brother Chris make an effort to find out Caleb’s intentions towards his sister. Well, the conversation between the two is more like Chris grilling Caleb. Why did Tammy Slaton’s brother grill Caleb Willingham?
Access has released a preview of the upcoming episode of “1000-Lb Sisters.” It seems that before Tammy and Caleb’s wedding preparations begin, Chris wants to know that his little sister is going to be in good hands. In order to ensure a good future, he will be seen grilling Tammy’s partner, Caleb. Chris claims to Caleb, “I just don’t like the fact that I don’t have time to get to know you like I think I should know you well,” according to Access. To this, Caleb responded with all of his information. He says, “My age. 39. Never been arrested, not once. No criminal record. No running.” Chris further explains why he is interviewing Caleb before the wedding. He says: “Tammy has had people in her past who haven’t really been a good influence on her.” He further explains how his last relationship made his party difficult. Chris asks Caleb, “Are you partying? Or are you going to bring that back into his world?” Caleb clarifies, “No plan at all. Honestly, I’m trying to improve myself, you know.”
As Chris asks Caleb what kind of work he’s done in the past, Tammy’s partner replies, “I’ve done a bit of everything. I’ve trimmed trees, worked in fast food.” The answer didn’t seem to make Chris very happy.

Chris Combs wonders if Caleb Willingham will support Tammy Slaton financially
Chris’ biggest concern at the moment is that Caleb “isn’t physically fit to go out and find physical work and make sure the bills are paid at home”. It’s something that Chris, as a big brother, worries about for his sister’s future. Chris claims in a confessional, “It’s not derogatory. It’s plain and simple facts.” Tammy’s brother further explains to Caleb that they pushed Tammy to be self-sufficient. The star explains her problem by asking Caleb “Are you determined to get your health back? Because if not, there’s a good chance Tammy will end up taking care of you.”
Like all the other brothers, Chris wants Tammy to live her best life and he doesn’t want Caleb to stop her from doing so or go back to the same situation she was in before. Caleb confirms with Tammy’s brother, “I’m ready to do whatever it takes. I’m not giving up, I’m not giving up, I’m not quitting.” Tammy’s husband explains that he never felt so motivated before meeting Tammy. He says, “Every moment of my life is due to your sister.” Chris confesses, “I hope he’s sincere and telling me the truth.” But, in the back of Chris’s mind, he knows people back down even after saying they won’t.
